Yes, we currently require advance reservations to visit us.

Members can email us at info@wolfhollowipswich.org to reserve their ticket(s). When emailing us please include the name on your membership and the date and time of the programs you'd like a reservation made for.
Please email us your reservation request in advance to your planned visit so we can do our best to ensure a space is available
Do I need to attend one of Wolf Hollow's programs to see the wolves? Can I walk around on my own?
As an educational wolf sanctuary we do require all visitors to be attending one of our programs like our guided tours or presentation. We do not permit any self guided tours.
Can I pet/play/interact/have my photo taken with the wolves?
No. Our resident wolves go through a bonding process with our trained human handlers which generally takes months before hands on contact with the wolves. Due to insurance liabilities and state regulations, and for the safety and comfort of our wolves, trained staff members are the only persons allowed to interact with the wolves.
Can I take pictures of the wolves?
Yes! Still photography is permitted and we love having photos taken by visitors shared with us on social media. We do not permit the filming or audio recording of our wolves.
We also offer private photographer's sessions, by appointment, that allow photographers to utilize photo portholes we have in the buffer zone of our fencing. To learn more about our photographer's sessions please visit the photo session section of our website.
Can I bring my pet* with me to Wolf Hollow?
No. While we obviously love animals, pets are not allowed on property at Wolf Hollow. Guests with service animals will be accommodated to the best of our ability. Guests who bring pets may be asked to leave. Please note that our parking area has little to no shade and we do not allow pets to be left in cars.
* Guests with service animals will be accommodated to the best of our ability.
What does "weather permitting" mean for being open/closed?
If weather conditions prove hazardous for our visitors or staff, or in heavy conditions (rain/heat) Wolf Hollow may be closed. We try to make a final decision on weather related closures by noon the day prior to scheduled tours/presentation and will send out email notifications to all reservation groups in the event of closing for weather. Should we be forced to close on the day of our tours/presentation we will email and call all reservation groups as soon as possible. All reservations are fully refunded in the event we close.
Are you handicap accessible?
Yes, our observation area and visitor center are both handicap accessible.
Do you host groups on weekdays?
Yes! We host schools and private groups weekdays by advance scheduling. For more information and to start the scheduling process you can email us at info@wolfhollowipswich.org.
What does a Private Tour consist of?
Wolf Hollow's Private Tour provides a great personal experience while having the opportunity to observe and learn about our resident ambassador wolves.
Private Tours are 45 minutes in length and are a walking/standing tour. During tours visitors will be led by one of our tour guides to each of our enclosures. At each enclosure your guide will provide information and stories about the resident wolves and will allow ample time throughout for questions.
The Private Tour ticket is essentially a "single ticket" for up to twenty (20) guests, organized by the purchaser.
Tickets must be purchased at least 2 weeks in advance through our website.
Please note that Private Tours are limited in their availability and often sell out well in advance.
What does a Public Tour consist of?
Wolf Hollow's public tours are a great opportunity to see and learn about our resident ambassador wolves. Public tours are an hour in length and are a walking/standing tour. During tours visitors will be led by one of our tour guides to each of our enclosures. At each enclosure your guide will provide information and stories about the resident wolves and will allow ample time throughout for questions. With maximum group sizes of 20 persons, public tours are also a wonderful way to visit Wolf Hollow in a smaller group setting
Tickets must be purchased in advance through our website.
What does a Public Presentation consist of?
Wolf Hollow's public presentations are a great opportunity to see our resident wolves and learn about wolf behavior, anatomy, the role that wild wolves have in ecosystems, and more. Public presentations are an hour in length and are primarily seated on our covered bleachers, overlooking the main enclosure. The presenter will always make time for questions, and we allow visitors time after the presentation to view our other enclosures and ask staff members questions.
Tickets must be purchased in advance through our website.
I called but no one picked up?
We try our best to answer every call that comes in during our operating hours on Saturdays and Sundays but we are a small nonprofit staffed primarily by volunteers, which means we are unfortunately not always in a position to answer the phone immediately. For the majority of matters it can often be faster for us to respond to emails sent to info@wolfhollowipswich.org.
Weekdays we are staffed by our only on site employee who is often out caring for the wolves and not near the phone. We do our best to return any voicemails we receive but are much faster with responses to emails.
Do you offer Gift Certificates?
At this time we do offer gift certificates that can be purchased at our Visitor’s Center. To use the gift card for ticket purchases, simply email info@wolfhollowipswich.org and we will book your tickets for you. Then you can use your gift card for payment when you arrive. Our gift cards can also be used for merchandise sales as well.
If you have any additional questions you can reach out to us at info@wolfhollowipswich.org
