Briar

Briar was born in May 1990 at Bear Country USA located in Rapid City, South Dakota. He was also one of the first original wolves at Wolf Hollow. He was an impressively large black male who stood over 6 feet high standing on his hind legs. During presentations he could often be seen jumping up and placing his paws on the director's shoulders demanding affection. Fondly there is a picture that is seen hanging in the gift shop that captures this memory well. Briar was the original dominant male and was Tee Bee’s devoted mate. Together they had several litters. Though he passed away in 1995, his legacy continued in his children for several years.
