Martin

Martin was born to Tee Bee and Briar in May of 1993. With a pronounced under bite visitors couldn't miss spotting him. He was known for his outgoing, friendly, life of the party personality. During presentations he always stayed in the front of the enclosure near the fence line so he could be where all the action was. He was quite the ham and was very photogenic. Sadly Briar died in 1995, and as the next highest ranking male Martin was the top contender for taking Briar’s position in the pack. Tee Bee however decided she would remain the boss for a few years. Finally in 1998 she accepted him as a mate and produced a litter with Martin. To everyone's surprise he also produced a litter with Missy; those pups were donated to Wolf Park in Battleground Indiana. Though he passed away in 1998 his legacy continued through his granddaughters Nina and Osa.
